Bicarbonate Soda

If you suffer from indigestion or heartburn, bicarbonate soda is the way to go. I may be a little bit obsessed with this remedy but it works. I learned this trick while studying and tried it myself and voila. I get heartburn/indigestion when I eat too spicy food, bread, unfortunately legumes and some other bits. If I’m careful with food, I’m broke. Because there is so much my belly at the moment can’t feel comfortable with, regardless plant based or non. Anyhow the feeling for me isn’t the best, I can’t go to bed feeling uncomfortable at all.

I take half tea spoon or whole depending on the amounts of water but I would suggest just less than a half pint of water and a half tea spoon.

If your belly is upset, you will start burping a few minutes after. Feels like everything is coming out, trapped wind and all that horrible burning. There is another way of checking the status of your stomach. You drink the same thing but the results will feel different, meaning you will burp as soon as you drink the bicarbonate soda. And that means that you are belly is fine?

I find this remedy so useful and easy to do. No need to drink a glass of milk and think that is gonna help you. Craig says it helps him? I don’t think drinking something you don’t tolerate is gonna help you but it is not my belly and I wouldn’t know better than him.
